"I must admit, I can’t even begin to categorize Redrick Sultan with a clever concoction of genres.
[Their set was] certainly a crazy fun experience, with enough weird yelling to make it funny.
The audience was dancing and flailing with the best of them, swinging their long hair and generally having a great time." -www.BackstageVancouver.com
"The horns are out front and emphasized as this group wigs out on a brew in which jazz merges with rock and occasionally klezmer. At times, the band's irreverence recalls Frank Zappa without Zappa's cynicism or his blues-rock foundation. It's a cartoon-like progressivism that can be both fun and demanding."

Redrick Sultan, a redbrick cauldron. A trick or a wick on a nail. You could set us on fire but then we would just burn, it might look nice but it depends how you look at it. We have an orange, a yellow orange, and a red orange. The blue yellows were all in D flat major, but we wanted that A. Sometimes we will do it anyways, the rules are for fool, and jewels are cruel. Can't we all look at them? It is important for us to stay in time, because without time, what is there to remember? And then we all must be in tune, for only then can we all play together.
great jamming with you too Spencer, you tore it up! 2nd last show tonight in Vernon, then Kamloops tomorrow... Hopefully we can get a show together in the fall.
dude, yeah. snes DK is the shit. I need to find copies of DKC 2 and 3; I had them for a while, but like many old things they got given away before I had my first Nintendo relapse. so lame
